2026 ATHENA Give Back Initiative:
Safe Harbors of the Finger Lakes
One of the guiding tenets of the ATHENA Leadership Award is Give Back.
From now through November 5, community members are invited to drop off new, unopened personal care and household items at the Chamber office. Every donation directly supports individuals and families across Ontario, Seneca, and Yates Counties who are rebuilding their lives after experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, or human trafficking.
Safe Harbors of the Finger Lakes, Inc. provides confidential, no-cost services including counseling, advocacy, emergency shelter, and prevention education—and this campaign helps ensure their clients have access to basic, everyday essentials when they need them most.
How You Can Contribute
Drop off donations
Bring new, unopened personal care and household items to the Ontario County Chamber office, 113 S. Main St., Canandaigua, during regular business hours (9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday) from now to November 5. You also can drop off checks, made payable to the Ontario County Chamber Foundation; or make a secure online donation below.
Bring donations to the ATHENA Dinner
If you’re attending the dinner, bring your contribution with you!
We’ll be collecting items (at the bottom of the stairs as soon as you walk in) and checks made payable to the Ontario County Chamber Foundation. You’ll also be able to make a donation via credit card that evening.
