ATHENA’s 40th Year: Giving Back to Our Community

One of the guiding tenets of the ATHENA Leadership Award is Give Back.

In honor of the 40th year of ATHENA, we’re launching a new annual initiative that highlights one ATHENA tenet — beginning with Give Back.

This year, we invite you to join us in supporting our neighbors through a non-perishable food drive to help address food insecurity in our community. Your generosity will help stock local food pantries and bring comfort to families across Ontario County.

How You Can Contribute

Drop off donations
Bring non-perishable food items to the
Ontario County Chamber office, 113 S. Main St., Canandaigua, during regular business hours (9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday) between November 6 - 20.

Bring donations to the ATHENA Dinner
If you’re attending the dinner, bring your contribution with you!
We’ll be collecting non-perishable food items (at the bottom of the stairs as soon as you walk in) and checks made payable to the Ontario County Chamber Foundation. You’ll also be able to make a donation via credit card.

Make a secure, tax-deductible online donation
Support the initiative with a financial contribution to purchase
food and essential items for local families.
